Maria Martinez

President, Global Customer Success & Salesforce Latin America at Salesforce


With more than 30 years of experience in business and technology leadership roles, Maria Martinez leads Salesforce’s Customer Success Group and is also GM of the company’s Latin and Central America business.

Her primary focus is helping customers transform their businesses and realize their ambitions faster. Martinez’ organization encompasses the company’s Success Programs and Products, including Customer Success Managers, Architects, Cloud Implementation Practices, Accelerators, Innovation and Transformation Consulting, Renewals and more. Prior to joining Salesforce seven years ago, Martinez managed Microsoft’s global services business, including professional services and customer support for the company’s business products.

In her six-year tenure, Martinez led the business to outperform revenue targets and to significantly increase Microsoft’s customer satisfaction rating. Before that, Martinez served as president and CEO of Embrace Networks and has also held senior leadership roles at Motorola and AT&T. Martinez has a Master’s Degree in computer engineering from Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering from the University of Puerto Rico. Fortune Magazine recently named Maria one of the 50 Most Powerful Latinas of 2017.
